Puede incluir caracter\u00edsticas como el relieve del terreno en una regi\u00f3n espec\u00edfica. El MDE es un concepto global que puede abarcar no s\u00f3lo la elevaci\u00f3n del terreno, sino tambi\u00e9n todas las capas situadas sobre \u00e9l, como la vegetaci\u00f3n o los edificios. Cuando la informaci\u00f3n se limita a la elevaci\u00f3n del terreno, se utiliza el t\u00e9rmino <strong><em>Modelo Digital del Terreno<\/em><\/strong> (MDT). Proporciona datos sobre la elevaci\u00f3n de cada punto del terreno. Si la informaci\u00f3n se refiere a la altura m\u00e1xima sobre el nivel del suelo en cada celda, entonces el MDT se denomina <strong><em>Modelo Digital de Superficie<\/em><\/strong> (MDS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los paisajes naturales son demasiado complejos para modelarlos anal\u00edticamente, por lo que la informaci\u00f3n suele basarse en muestras. Lo ideal ser\u00eda que un modelo \u00ab\u00a0aut\u00e9ntico\u00a0\u00bb incluyera tambi\u00e9n un m\u00e9todo de interpolaci\u00f3n que permitiera obtener valores de elevaci\u00f3n entre muestras, pero esta funcionalidad no suele estar al alcance del usuario final. Las especificaciones de un MDE tambi\u00e9n se definen mediante datos auxiliares. Estas especificaciones, que describen el conjunto de datos, son esenciales para que los usuarios puedan acceder a ellos, transmitirlos y analizarlos. Abarcan varias caracter\u00edsticas que se consideran esenciales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las especificaciones de un MDE suelen incluir dos tipos de par\u00e1metros. Por un lado, las especificaciones de elevaci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar no difieren de las de los mapas anal\u00f3gicos, y suelen incluir par\u00e1metros geod\u00e9sicos como el elipsoide, la proyecci\u00f3n, el origen de las elevaciones, as\u00ed como la ubicaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica, como las coordenadas de las esquinas. La \u00fanica excepci\u00f3n es la escala, que carece de significado en el contexto de los mapas digitales. Por otro lado, un MDE es un producto digital que requiere especificaciones para ser interpretado como una cuadr\u00edcula de alturas. Sus especificaciones son esenciales para interpretar correctamente los datos contenidos en el modelo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Modelo Digital de Superficie (MDS)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Modelo Digital de Superficie (MDS) es un concepto clave en los Sistemas de Informaci\u00f3n Geogr\u00e1fica (SIG) y la teledetecci\u00f3n. Constituye una representaci\u00f3n digital de una superficie terrestre, generalmente desde el suelo hasta la parte superior de los objetos presentes en dicha superficie, como edificios, \u00e1rboles, etc. El MDS se utiliza para describir la elevaci\u00f3n o altitud del terreno y de los objetos situados sobre \u00e9l.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He aqu\u00ed algunos puntos clave sobre el Modelo Digital de Superficie en los SIG:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Definici\u00f3n de un DSM: El DSM es un modelo matem\u00e1tico tridimensional que asocia valores de elevaci\u00f3n a cada punto de una superficie terrestre y a todos los objetos que se encuentran sobre ella, como edificios, \u00e1rboles, coches, etc. Estos valores de elevaci\u00f3n pueden representarse como un porcentaje de la elevaci\u00f3n de la superficie. Estos valores de elevaci\u00f3n pueden representarse mediante puntos, p\u00edxeles o mallas, seg\u00fan el m\u00e9todo utilizado para crear el MDS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adquisici\u00f3n de datos : Los datos para crear un MDS pueden obtenerse de diversas fuentes, como levantamientos topogr\u00e1ficos sobre el terreno, im\u00e1genes por sat\u00e9lite o a\u00e9reas, datos LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) u otras t\u00e9cnicas de teledetecci\u00f3n. Los levantamientos LiDAR son especialmente populares para crear MDS de alta resoluci\u00f3n y precisi\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilizaci\u00f3n del MDS: El Modelo Digital de Superficie se utiliza en una amplia gama de aplicaciones, como la ordenaci\u00f3n del territorio, la cartograf\u00eda, la gesti\u00f3n de recursos naturales, los estudios ecol\u00f3gicos, la planificaci\u00f3n urbana, la gesti\u00f3n de inundaciones, la ingenier\u00eda civil, la planificaci\u00f3n de redes de comunicaciones, etc. Proporciona informaci\u00f3n sobre las caracter\u00edsticas del terreno, la altura de los edificios, las zonas con riesgo de inundaci\u00f3n, la pendiente del terreno, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diferencias con el Modelo Digital del Terreno (MDT): Es importante no confundir el MDT con el Modelo Digital del Terreno (MDT). El MDT representa \u00fanicamente la superficie del terreno natural, sin tener en cuenta objetos como edificios o vegetaci\u00f3n. Por lo general, el MDT se obtiene eliminando del MDS los elementos a\u00e9reos, como edificios y \u00e1rboles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tratamiento de datos : La creaci\u00f3n de un MDT puede implicar un complejo procesamiento de datos para filtrar los puntos innecesarios, reducir el ruido, rellenar huecos y generar una representaci\u00f3n continua del terreno. Para crear un MDT de alta calidad pueden utilizarse diversas t\u00e9cnicas de procesamiento, como la interpolaci\u00f3n, el filtrado y la fusi\u00f3n de datos de m\u00faltiples fuentes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>En resumen, el Modelo Digital de Superficie (MDS) es una representaci\u00f3n digital completa de una superficie terrestre, que incluye elementos a\u00e9reos como edificios y \u00e1rboles. Se utiliza ampliamente en SIG para muchas aplicaciones y proporciona informaci\u00f3n valiosa sobre la topograf\u00eda y la morfolog\u00eda del paisaje.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfDatos clasificados o brutos?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Generar un MDS a partir de una nube de puntos LIDAR puede ser muy sencillo o m\u00e1s complicado, dependiendo del tipo de datos utilizados. Estos puntos se conocen como \u00ab\u00a0ruido\u00a0\u00bb de nubes. Como hemos descrito en la introducci\u00f3n de este art\u00edculo, la generaci\u00f3n de un modelo digital de superficie implica un proceso de interpolaci\u00f3n. Mientras que el ruido no es un problema para algunos tratamientos, en cuanto se trata de interpolar valores, estos puntos afectar\u00e1n al resultado de forma bastante dram\u00e1tica. Para generar el MDS se puede utilizar una herramienta nativa de QGis, LAStools o WhiteboxTools. Veremos esto en el pr\u00f3ximo cap\u00edtulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aqu\u00ed vamos a procesar una nube bruta con ruido y vamos a utilizar CloudCompare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C\u00e1lculo de un modelo digital de superficie (DSM) con CloudCompare<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La ventaja de utilizar CloudCompare para llevar a cabo este procesamiento es que se puede comprobar visualmente la calidad de la eliminaci\u00f3n del ruido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comenzamos con una nube de puntos sin clasificar del IGN:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hay dos filtros disponibles en CloudCompare para eliminar el ruido:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El filtro SOR<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La herramienta \u00ab\u00a0filtro SOR\u00a0\u00bb es muy similar al S.O.R. (Statistical Outlier Removal) de la biblioteca PCL. En primer lugar, calcula la distancia media de cada punto a sus vecinos (considerando k vecinos m\u00e1s cercanos para cada uno &#8211; k es el primer par\u00e1metro). A continuaci\u00f3n, rechaza los puntos que se encuentran a una distancia superior a la distancia media m\u00e1s un n\u00famero determinado de veces la desviaci\u00f3n t\u00edpica (segundo par\u00e1metro). Este filtro puede considerarse un filtro de paso bajo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para estimar la superficie (plana) subyacente, el usuario puede definir un radio o un n\u00famero (constante) de vecinos. El usuario tambi\u00e9n puede elegir entre un error relativo (como S.O.R.) y un error absoluto. Los puntos aislados tambi\u00e9n pueden eliminarse en la misma ejecuci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En nuestro caso, la utilizaci\u00f3n del filtro SOR es mucho m\u00e1s eficaz. herramientas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>la primera, LASnoise, nos permitir\u00e1 clasificar los puntos de ruido en una clase determinada (clase 7)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la segunda, las2dem, nos permitir\u00e1 generar un raster con las alturas de los puntos, donde habremos excluido la clase 7.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LASnoise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La ventana di\u00e1logo de la herramienta las2dem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LAS2dem<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta herramienta interpola una nube de puntos utilizando la Z de los puntos. En el ejemplo que estamos siguiendo, con una nube de puntos LIDAR sin clasificar, hemos clasificado el ruido como clase 7. Esto asegurar\u00e1 que los puntos de ruido no se tengan en cuenta al interpolar el DSM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En <strong><em>step size\/pixel size <\/em><\/strong>establezca el tama\u00f1o de p\u00edxel del DSM, luego ejecute el comando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El resultado se puede cargar en la ventana QGis.
