Its development was later carried on by\nan international team, under\nthe GNU \/ GPL license. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Features<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GRASS is a System of Geographical\nInformation that supports both, vectors point files (called sites in GRASS) and raster\nfiles (or images). It also possess special functions\nfor images processing and map production (exported to postscript or html formats ). It is extremely powerful but difficult to approach.\nIt runs on Windows from Cygwin and UNIX knowledge is essential.
