But without going through that , you have directly access to all\nlayers that have been declared \u201cpublic\u201d in ArcGIS Online. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you enter \u201cFrance\u201d in the search box and start the process , you see that\nthere are more than 500 data layers available . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Some<\/strong> <strong>\u201ctips\u201d?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Interestingly, a certain<\/strong> <strong>number<\/strong> <strong>of layers,<\/strong> <strong>will<\/strong> <strong>not load<\/strong> <strong>directly<\/strong> <strong>.<\/strong> There is a window that will ask you for a user name and password to access ArcGIS Online. <br> Do not panic! A public account will give you access. It only takes two minutes, is free and does not commit you to anything in particular. <br> To create a public account, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?hl=fr&amp;prev=_t&amp;sl=fr&amp;tl=en&amp;u=https:\/\/www.arcgis.com\/home\/signin.html\">the registration site<\/a> , and click on the button \u201cCREATE A PUBLIC ACCOUNT\u201d. <strong>Do not trust what you see when you load a layer<\/strong>. Often what you see is all that corresponds to the layer. Besides, there are exceptions, and it would be a shame to miss them. <br> Let\u2019s see an example .
