We will use the data and example from the article3D &#8211; Functional surfaces \u2013 Coastal specific case (sea-land interface), &nbsp;since it, also, allows to consider the basic\nworking methods <strong>and<\/strong> <strong>sea<\/strong> <strong>domains<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being given that we have different sources and processing for the data\nlocated on earth or in sea, a prerequisite is to define the boundaries between\nthe two domains . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To this end, &nbsp;we will use a\nclassic layer (Coastline common IGN-SHOM) and a surface rectangle of our study\narea . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open ArcGis Pro and select a Local Scene type new project. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ArcGis Pro opens with a 3D view and a default layer (Topographic) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click the Insert\ntab and the button NewMap <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2D view is added to the map. <br>\nYou can remove the Topographic layer \n\nLoad you 2D layers in the 2D view : Map tab , Add Data button <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>left: the legend window, similar to ArcMap <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>center: the view window with a tab for each available view <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>right: the\ngeoprocesseur window <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will carry out a simple task : create a polygons layer with terrestrial\nand marine polygons.<br>\nWe have a terrestrial layer and a delimiting rectangle. If we perform the union\nof these two layers, we will create one or various polygons Additional terrestrial\npolygons fill the surface.
