ArcMap<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main difference between ArcMap and ArcGis Pro is the\ndisappearance of the \u00a0\u00bb editing session \u00ab\u00a0. When\nyou\nopen\na\ntable, you can edit\nit without opening , as in ArcMap, an editing session\n, simply by double clicking in\na\ntable cell. If you want\nto protect the table content, you have\nto go through the \u00ab\u00a0Fields\u00a0\u00bb window . Right\nhere you find a new\ncolumn available : \u00ab\u00a0Read Only\u00a0\u00bb. If\nthe box is checked for an attribute\nfield , you will not be able to edit it any longer directly\nby\nopening\nthe table.
